Multiform Full Moon

June 11 2025

20* 38’ Sagittarius

21st Shape: Multiform

17º 8' 34'' Sagittarius – 0° Capricorn

Jupiter’s much anticipated ingress into exaltation in cardinal Cancer, where he can typically accomplish overflowing fountains of thirst quenching resources which nourish our bodies, souls, and psyches, gets to extend its expression to his fiery rulership in Sagittarius where the Moon fills to its lunation climax. Not only this, but he does so while in a sextile orb to Venus in her earth sign rulership, Taurus, where sensuality, craft, quality substance and embodied rhythms are the baseline resonance. Mercury is riding close to Jupiter bringing wide scope coherence in the same territory as our ideas and analysis; emotional intelligence, impression, intuition, and attention to what resource must flow to what thing which we wish to nurture and generate and care for. The Moon takes these dynamics and projects them into a subjective realization of what ideals we strive to move towards, what holy grails we are inspired to chase after, and what pursuits we feel need to be put in motion.

The contentious factor is that this ingress put’s Jupiter in a square to Saturn as well as Neptune. This is nothing new, these planets have been squaring all last year, but in a different pair of signs: Jupiter was until now in Gemini and Saturn-Neptune was until recently in Pisces. Wormhole opening expansion of ideas, info and options, like exponential browser windows, clashing against obligations to let go, release control, and strategize along the atmospheric flows and systems of currents. Awash in fate and bathed in information amongst exponentiating options only reachable when and if the tides take you there. The past 13ish years saw the world fall under the trust the universe and it will manifest for you what you need spell, but suddenly this go with the flow magical philosophy seems to be only flowing down the toilet. Our ears prick and we wake up. We have to play a role in our own process once again or else get flushed. We’re called to attention. There’s a new myth in town, so saddle up, there’s no escape unless you’re quick on the uptake.

This current square is different, Jupiter’s strong inclination to give us babies the milk we so need in a big way is in tension with the obligation to stay calm, alert, autonomous, effective and individuated with our head full of mythic vision of hot action and dreams of striking hot irons. I’ve described this dynamic extensively in my recent forecasts for June and also the last few months. We don’t want to get so relaxed that we show our cards amidst the necessary tension of the poker table or else all we get is a nice complementary meal, some free drinks and camaraderie rather than a high stakes jackpot which is critical to proceed to the next step of the future’s chronology. Admittedly, the meal is more than nice, its profound, but still, it does not justify failing at the task at hand rather than succeeding. Mars ruled Aries does not have to mean life or death, but it does mean win or lose, and those are the breaks. You can learn to win big by the final round by losing catastrophically in the preliminary, but going that route depletes over all energy and sounds like working harder rather than smarter, so we have to keep our wits about us and keep our yang up even when the yin is getting poured over us in copious amounts. Saturn’s project here is a three year long one, so we don’t have to try to get through the entire game all at once, although it is more tactical than it is strategic. This is not a long game, it's an ongoing moment to moment affair.

What’s Mars up to during this? Well, he’s trine the lunation at the tail end of Leo fighting to remain authentic and fired up to make bold displays of power, bent on braving some self expression in an otherwise entirely artificial world. This, while applying to Uranus attempting to finish out its time in Taurus, where all regular business and attempts to ground have been shaken till they cracked since 2018; apparently it rocks the boat to be transparent and express yourself without a filter; the caveat is are you expressing yourself or expressing pre-programmed idea blocks which fit into one collective egregore or another? This is something we have to assess as we go. You have to now think about what you think about. Chiron is the third leg of the Moon-Mars trine, so healing our awkwardness around autonomy and being independent rings harmonious with a Moon resourced enough to strike out at long range targets, excited at the prospects of launching into more ideal forms. Yes, Jupiter’s entrance is made not so ideal by having to deal with Saturn’s hard edged demands on us, but, Saturn only has so much ability to shut things down in Aries, typically things go ahead unhindered only to become tactical tests and obstacle courses we can’t escape once initiated, becoming more a matter of the endurance required to maintain the hustle.

Jupiter on the other hand has everything it needs to douse us in coherence, understanding, intuition and optimism and is moving fast enough that it will fly past the square towards the deep end of Pisces before stationing direct in November, at which point Saturn will have retrograded back to Pisces where he comes within a trine to Jupiter in a sign Jupiter rules. I’m imagining that what you might be wanting to put into play here for the future can be conceived of, sparked off and born into reality, but you have to make sure you’re energetically ready to run the gamut once you pull the trigger and not vault into illusory short cuts which may rise out of no where once the clock begins to run. Even circumambulation which takes us through the detour of previous tidal flows come fall is laced with benefit, so expand we are likely to do. This in no way means nothing bad can happen. There’s plenty to contend with in the skies, and rampant technocracy, autonomous death machines, internet/telecommunication disruptions and so on are baked in— but, the more you mind your own business the less it can effect you.

The 200 year cycle of being able to participate in the system and get the gratification of seeing change being made in your own lifetime is probably officially over. The previous earth period encapsulated Napoleon all the way to Covid with the entire industrial age and birth of nations contained within it. We might expect “politics” to operate similar to how they did 800 years ago than they did 20 years ago, so I doubt rocking the vote or taking it to the streets will have the same effect you might have gotten used to. Meanwhile, holistic principles would suggest regulating your own nervous system aids in regulating the entire field and participates harmonizing the world as a whole. Obviously much of the threat in 2025 is hallucinatory and by simple astrological deduction is also addictive and intended to be. This is simple Aries—Neptune—Saturn. Remember Y2K, WTO Seattle, Columbine— Saturn in Aries led up to that, of which Homeland Security followed. We must be careful which obstacle course we get carried away in, and understanding now is different than any other time we’ve lived in may be helpful context. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius in an Air period (10/28/1287—11/28/1308), like now, was during the entropic degradation of feudal systems which collapsed without any central conflict. Aristocratic lords slowly became irrelevant and ceased to hold power as commercial economy elements emerged and began to dynamically develop. We might want to make what oppresses us in this age of digital feudalism, surveillance normalization and virtual control irrelevant by putting our energy into the functionality, fortitude and flexibility of our own lives (which include our communities and bioregional ecosystem) rather than every maybe-real-maybe-unreal-threat distributed to the collective. In which case, we will conserve energy for when we are actually threatened directly in the moment, and can effectively defend ourselves and those around us.

The lunation itself occurs in the 21st Shape of MULTIFORM, which seems to, as the name suggests (from Ancient Greek πολύμορφος, Polýmorfos), express multiplicity, combination, all-in-one-ness and hydral exponentials across the various traditions. The Fangshi seen in the Chinese Xiu carries a three bladed staff and is (at the period of texts referenced) associated with the trio of stars in Orion. Fittingly it speaks of the polarity of excess vs qi regulation, the need for limitations, avoiding energy vampires being careful to not be paranoid. The Rigvedic deity of the Nakshatra is Visvedevas, or, All-Gods, essentially all the gods combined together. It speaks of abundances, and interestingly, when the Sun passes through these degrees it is the span of year encompassing the Holiday Season in modern times and is also the two weeks leading up to Winter Solstice, which was the period of Saturnalia in Rome and the Kronia in Greece— a time of role reversal, revel, celebration, feasting, gambling and participatory phantasmagoria. The Grimorium Verum spirit is Humots, who brings books and is syncretized in Quimbanda with Exu das Sete Pedras, Exu of Seven Stones, again stressing the multiplicity. Books is even in the plural, meaning more than one at least or more likely a plethora, the pages of which are often filled with a hydral phantasmagoria of characters and spinning with myths, apocalyptic visions, hermetic recipes, scripture and knowledge of philosophy. The Picatrix sees “man with two faces, one forward one behind” who we know as Janus. Janus is often depicted holding a key, which implies his archetypal ability to preside over thresholds, portals and boundary crossings. The Chinese information here speaks of similar; boundaries and limitations, which is precisely what is crossed during the Saturnalia; status quo customs are out the window. The Picatrix also calls this place The City, notably where you might go to get books hot off the press as well long in circulation and is often, in pre-gentrified times, equivalent with anything goes dens of iniquity, where you would travel to to quench the thirst for even the most obscure and outlandish kink which might spin the head of some country bumpkins. In theory at least. It goes both ways, like the face of Janus who stands somewhere between the two, any two.

The Picatrix’s talisman is for destruction and uses sulphur as well as dried tar. The particular polymorphos the PGM is referring to is likely the Echidna, the composite being which gives birth to all the other composite beings and worlds’ monstrosities, so she is not unlike the biblical Mother of Abominations, Babalon, who in the Jack Parsons sense is known to be quite volatile and likes to literally blow things up, maybe even Parsons himself. The jury is out. Either way, there seems to be a fossil fuel thread running through Multiform, as well as another Shape which falls into a fire sign, Chimera aka Shegoat, the latter having more to do with mining while Multiform, or the literal, historical, cave of the Echidna was an Apollonian oracle sight where pilgrims and priests would huff gas released in cavern shafts leading to potent visionary states. These may have been visions of the Echidna and her brood herself, which sounds pretty Revelations like, or a pre-paleontological dinosaur viewing, as the gases one would inhale in such a cave would be in part literally composed of these prehistoric reptile bodies. I’ve noticed that clients who have Multiform prominent in their charts have some relationship or another with petroleum products, usually by way of combustion engines being a detail in their life. Surprisingly, Parson’s doesn’t have anything in these degrees, but his Descendent is in Sagittarius at 11. His chart is Roddin Rating AA, but I’m suspicious even though his birth certificate exists, as it says 8:45 pm, which would likely be a rounded approximation. I’d bet money that he was born with the Descendent between 21: 17º 8' 34'' Sagittarius and 0° Capricorn, as Babalon was his true consort. Marjorie Cameron on the other hand does have Mars securely in Multiform at 24 degrees Sagittarius, which is revealing (or revelational), as she was the human being who was married to Parsons until his death.

The elections in Picatrix are the usual claptrap: strengthening buildings, increase harvests, firm profit, safely go through towns, separate spouses; but we can see as usual, despite the talisman being a destructive one this mansion is both good and bad, depending on what the malefics are doing. I’d say we don’t have to worry about them this round, as they are both trine to Sagittarius, nothing you’d want to carve with permanence under necessarily but also not reigning in any discord. I do think it marks a moment of wild, spontaneous randomness radically emerging as the autonomous and generative (both words we’re getting used to in 2025) cardinal clash sparks off new things coming squirming out of reality’s bag of mixed potentials. It becomes a matter of signal and noise undifferentiated and pumped up full volume. You’ll see plenty you want to race towards and reach for, but in the process you may get a bunch of whatever else comes spraying out all over your storyline.

Neptune, in one sense, is primarily about mythos, and what we can source from reality’s cartoon twin sibling, so in the Saturnalian wavy funhouse mirror of abominations we throw the knuckle dice upon the table in the festive spirit of gambling, life is but a casino. That’s all well and good. Fun, games, inspiration and scent of fabulous futures. But the drinks are laced and society is fucking rigged and not everyone is who they say they are, or in 2025 even real at all, and that goes for the alarms going off everywhere and sprinklers systems triggering; even when you have the water on your face, smell the smoke and feel the heat of the fire— ultimately, still, who knows. Real and unreal are officially, for the time being, critically blended. Saturn and Neptune are partnered up, this is just how it is. Casino’s seem pretty fake to begin with. The jackpots are real though. But is money even real? Its effects certainly are. Let’s skip the casino and go back to Saturnalia, or the Vedas, or whenever and wherever the Gods are alive and thriving. We need a sense of the sacred and the divine when the going gets phantasmagoric and the vibe shifts up and away. Keep your energy under your own control and trust no one. Move through your obstacles attentively. Meanwhile, take every opportunity you can to nourish and enjoy yourself. You’ll need it. It’s going to be a long trip.
