The upcoming lunation blooms in light while the Sun is making its way towards its conjunction with Uranus, the outer planet that has been woven discreetly into this lunar cycle, as the previous New Moon in Taurus saw Uranus being the next aspect the Moon would make after conjoining the Sun, here Uranus is the next aspect the Sun will make after opposing the Moon, and is the final conjunction the Sun will make with Uranus in Taurus until April of 2103, so certainly this is a centering around the conclusion of what Uranus has been revolutionizing, bending and twisting material into radical new forms in the baseline levels of our lives since May of 2018. This look directly into the climax of what reliable, secure and stable grounds need to at last shift or flip projects light into the receptive cunning of the Scorpionic territory, where instincts whisper from our core to our emotional intelligence as urges, smoldering psychological sensations and fight or flight impulses. Whether this causes us to salivate with hunger, libidinously fixate or flee in mortal fear is personal and particular to each individual. Either way, the bright, subjective light of coming to know by experiencing is shone across this territory of our existences delivering us important Intel from the depths of our animal minds and primal coherence.

Obviously, Mars is prompting a new tactical approach and mode of maneuvering in opposition to plutochratic-technocracy and collectivist progressivism from the realm of self-sovereign Leo directing Aries’ new tenants' dreaming, imagining, and perception widening while simultaneously strategizing, structuring and establishing enduring forms of autonomous skills and direct action protocols. The introduction of this new, more active modality transitions us from the escapist, go with the flow pool we were all immersed in and subject to the dynamics of virality while consuming and digesting the same stream of media cross culturally to a more direct and in the moment response at every critical narrative juncture. Neptune drowned us in escapist media since 2012 and Saturn demanded we learn to not push but instead add form to the flow in full awareness of the atmosphere since 2023, but now both outer planets move into a moment by moment, independent, activity oriented and effectiveness driven sign of initiations. Our souls’ reaction to all this blossoms with this full Moon in a guttural way. In a sense its like augury or even the observational aspects of animal husbandry where we are ourselves the animal we are observing for diagnostic clues and cues to both the condition of the moment and where to take things moving forward.

The Shape from the Greek Magical Papyri is FIELD-MOUSE, which likely refers to Apollo, as mice are associated with the oracular god of far reaching influence, civility, light, healing, disease, archery and music. Many of his oracular sites include statuary of the legionary rodents, and Apollo being sometimes claimed to be a stand in for Lucifer (or vis versa) shares the coincidence of Lucifer Light-Bearer and Dawn-Bringer’s offering suggested in the grimoires being a mouse. That may be as Lucifer compels all the other spirits, or seen in Quimbanda terms, all the Exu are part of or splinterings of the the head spirit, Exu Lucifer, thus legionary in nature, so when you see a mouse you know there has got to be others proliferating in the vicinity and since you are likely able to tell them all apart their accumulated presence is simply of “MOUSE” in archetypal totality. Apollo’s civilizing influence comes along with considerations of how to be in human cultural society and not succumb to the chaos of nature, in a sound and sophisticated way, i.e. with virtues of oracular ability and musicianship. As far as mouse, this might suggest, how to live in a way where you are not infested by corrupting forces in proliferation, your abode not overwhelmed by vermin. Apollo was thought to bring blessing or blight if he was pleased with a population’s behavior or not.

The Apollonian and legionary concerns are reflected in the Verum spirit’s abilities which allow you to “see animals real and fantastical, teaches of animals, reveals treasures, comes as a king, and gets an offering of bread”, the latter being appropriate food for things that nibble away at stores. The Chinese material corroborates that it is inauspicious to break taboos in this lunar station and the rigvedic deity of the Indian nakshatra is Nirrti, the goddess of dissolution and destruction and primordial chaos and she also has associations of keeping people bound to right conduct and civilized actions. The Sanskrit word Nirrti means 'decay' and is derived from nirṛ: to separate and can be interpreted as meaning devoid of ṛta, or devoid of natural law and divine truth, so in a state of disorder, lawlessness, non-existence and absolute darkness. The lawlessness is reminiscent of the paired dynamics of Mars in sovereign and truth oriented Leo opposing corrupting and power dynamic manipulating Pluto in abstract, often artificial and 'beyond known boundaries' Aquarius as well as the emphasis on autonomous and even rogue agency in Aries, but in the Nirrti context it is cosmic or metaphysical lawlessness rather than the milieu of the societal outlaw-- a particular distinction the upcoming combination of Neptune and Saturn may be committed to blurring.

Nirrti is often propitiated by offering black rice to infertile women, which is interesting as Picatrix mentions in this mansion making a talisman for hastening women’s menses using brass, liquid storax, and hanging it around a woman’s hips as a contraceptive. This mansion extending from Scorpio to Sagittarius we are in the region of the reproductive organs as well as the hips, but similar to above, infertility and absolute darkness or forces of separation and disorder as if the continual creation of existence itself is disrupted. The image seen is a woman holding hands before her face, evoking the feminine in grief, and overlapping with the midwifery themes of Artemis, Apollo’s twin sister and belonging likely to the following Shape, Deer. The Verum spirit’s ability to call up and teach about animals also probably reaches into Artemis' territory, and highlights the civilized versus feral dichotomy. Obviously, menstruation has been considered taboo in patriarchal society for more than centuries, again referencing things that may be natural but are considered corrupting in force (opposite rta) by a status quo within demographic, geographic and periodic brackets. The association with Nirrti’s primordial chaos and vortex of blackness is also appropriate as Apollo was often associated with fellow deity of Anatolian origin and cousin Hekate, goddess of the dark moon and perhaps eclipses. In fact, Apollo was sometimes thought to be the male counterpart of Hekate, she dealing with yin and dark forces of chthonic nature and him with yang forces of light, brightness and extending outward, as in both arrow and oracle.

Besides eroding food supplies, or chewing the wires of your car or tearing up your insulation mice are generally thought to be corrupting due to their droppings and the unsanitary bacteria they carry. The Scorpionic and Sagitarian transition refers to the lower or pelvic regions of the sexual and reproductive organs but also of the excretory. In a sense this lunation asks us, as Uranus makes his last renovations and modulations to the regularity of our lives, if we are to proceed viscerally intact, what do our instincts tell us about what legionary nodes of corrupting forces threaten to overwhelm our being and purpose and what needs to be expelled, excreted and destroyed then made clearly separate from what we urge to create and proliferate in sophistication? What in your midst can you identify may succumb to chaotic degradation if there is not separation made between the corrupting elements those others which are sensitive and young and need a clean, bright and sonorous signal to ride along on? These are essentially balances or excesses of yin and yang in the material dimension. The previous Shape, LEOPARD, deals specifically with the interplay of day's light and nights darkness, from a zodiacal season after autumn equinox when the nights are longer than the days, contemplating the ability to digest poisons. MOUSE continues this by identifying what toxins are removed after this digestion and how to keep them from polluting everything good within the vicinity.

The Shape opposite MOUSE is FALCON, where the Sun shines from and plans to meet Uranus in. That Shape speaks about keeping eyes peeled for danger, warding away the evil eye and banishing injurious intrusion in a natural world which provides for us but may also be hostile. The Sun there understands we are in a “high voltage” or “hard hat area” type zone, and this is highly exacerbated by Uranus’ presence, which also courses with volatile urgency, but this is the urgency to break patterns and make radical shifts, to be experimental. In this sense, it may not simply be fecal matter and excretory functions calling our attention, or the custom and convention of taboo, but energy which runs through physicality which requires adjustment, and in a way we need to investigatively play around with our energetic parameters, but methodically with precaution and safety protocols incorporated. This could be the elements of excess and stagnancy in our biologies stressing our systems which need to be channeled to our digestive and urinary tracts so they can find their way out of our organisms. This speaks of fully digesting our experiences, as everything entering our senses is in some way ultimately consumed, and to fully complete the resulting digestion, even of ideas or concepts or images or media we encounter, we need to follow through all the way to excretion, and then once we have defecated the waste, what we don’t need, what is toxic, what is irrelevant, then we have to remember to wash ourselves, purify our beings and environs, put distance between us and the substance, locating it downstream from us rather than upstream. It is uncivilized to play with our feces, in fact it can even be our downfall. Take care to not go in on additional rounds of rumination with things you've already demolished, sorted and put to rest-- especially if they are explosive, avoid attempting fruitful picnics amongst un-detonated landmines in forgotten septic fields.
