July 24th’s New Moon is a condensed jewel within the larger array that encompasses 2025 shifting into 2026, holographically at the pivot point of the last 15-20 years becoming the next 15-20 years. From this point emanates more than the singularity from which the lunation aperture articulates. The conjunction of Sun and Moon at two degrees Leo is opposite Pluto in Aquarius, trine to Saturn and especially Neptune, sextile to Uranus in Gemini and heading towards a cazimi with retrograde Mercury who is currently ruling Mars, the South Node, Venus as well recently ingressed Uranus. Since Jupiter is in the Moon’s sign, the Greater Benefic also takes direct cues from this New Moon and sets the next couple weeks up to grow in the context of what is here described.

From a contemplative shift of subjective light seeds of self-sovereign authenticity and central spirit expression are sown across the emotional and subjective cycle which must directly see and contend with ominousness of cutting edge ideas and innovative new concepts which progress beyond precipices of currently explored mental territory and exponentially assemble heavy, unknown power dynamics upgrading all the systems around us; our personal life structures as well as the nodal networks of the world order, which we are yet to grasp, and may be chasing the bleeding edge for the next twenty years not knowing where society is headed. In this intellectual climate we cannot avoid being cast into mystery, and move forward blind in seek of holding power for ourself, and at best distributing it to our allies, and avoid being assimilated or syndicated into our enemy’s collectives. In short, our consciously aware spirit-minds forced to strike a balance with the run away artificiality of society looking to innovate to a place that allows us to express as fully and ring true with as little compromise as possible, in full consideration of the situation to which we cannot deny.

The above dynamic collaborates, hand in hand with an itch to scramble the data, change the way we communicate, experiment with how we exchange, randomize the options, flip the polarities, cause the ideas to swarm and buzz until they stir up high voltage surges of information, catalyze eureka episodes. We may no longer require fixed opinions, fixed values, fixed concepts or philosophies and instead can switch and flip what we think at any moment as to what framework of thinking suits our Daimon, our incarnate animating spirit, which like all other spirits is amoral, apolitical and by non-manifest nature paradoxical. Often, when someone does what their Daimon wants rather than their status-quo set, rational minds, they seem erratic and non-sensical; like quitting your stable job to pursue what you love, or pouring your energy into your passions even if they don’t make you money. This becomes key in a moment when multiple technocratic break away economy’s hold wealth we have no access to outside certain casino vectors and what we are left to circulate among ourselves shrinks as they parasitically create mechanisms to siphon the rest of it away from the general populace who passes back and forth fictional funds while meaningless infrastructures seemingly self assemble despite no one wanting to live in the irrelevant world disconnected from the basic fabric of reality. What you do from the impetus of your spirit differs from what simply happens to you via activity of the external world. In between your spirit’s agenda and the world drama at large is your collection of opinions, values, philosophies and paradigms, which are part you, as you participate with them, and in part belong to the world, notions which exist that you can subscribe to. Uranus in Gemini may reflect, at least in one sense, no longer having fixed opinions, philosophies or values: they shift at any moment as would suit the directive of your own spirit’s agenda in this incarnation, which also works completely fine for the larger syndicated nodal networks of an information based surveillance state technocracy: i.e. it creepily serves the self and the parasitic collective infrastructure of oppression just as well.

We see this in another form with this lunation trining Saturn-Neptune, which also sextile’s that Uranus and that Pluto. The obligation to individuate, get real about our autonomy, conserve our energy, defend our skills and capabilities, initiate independently and all the while build from mythos, assemble from the archetypal, strategize within a cloak of high saturation atmospherics and perception widening energetics is harmonized with this quiet yet core seed sowing of the true and authentic, Daimonic, central, consciously aware spirit-mind. It strikes an energetic chord at the epicenter of how we sense the dynamic existence of being and occurring in life’s ongoing happenings which inspires us to continue to be and carry that inspiration over into expression and communication outside ourselves into the external world where we end up connecting with others on a variety of scales. In this description again, we see the version of what societal, economic, medical, media, and various tech innovators are trying to get to with whatever AI integration is driving at, and simultaneously we see us going analog individually, taking our autonomy back and becoming more enduring, formidable beings by doing things ourselves rather than having actions and functions outsourced for convenience, as we are learning that has very real and probably permanently disabling repercussions.

What Mercury rethinks, corrects, and reorganizes at this moment, distributed into what Mars is slicing out of the operational components of our lives which the South Node has shown us is redundant, ill-making and friction causing as well as what Uranus has become itchy to rearrange and Venus desires to juggle and play with all surrounds this notion of how we reorient to our spirit’s incarnated purpose of expressing and what needs to be articulated for us to govern ourselves energetically rather than have whatever agent of society govern that for us: but ironically, the entire array works just as well for a decentralized network of corrupt syndicates to hijack us and assimilate us into organized nodes for the sole purpose of an open ended experiment playing out across disconnected parties with no central purpose or plan. Jupiter is here juiced to give all of the above opportunity and resource to choose their way, and the hallucinatory, martial select-ability denoted by Saturn-Neptune in Aries embodies the challenge at hand. How do we effectively live in this world as real, primary agents? The time of zoning out, escaping and sedating has passed. If you want control of your cognition, and want your spirit to be installed as the central energetic of your being, then you have to stay calm, be alert and act accordingly with decisive presence moment to moment.

Meanwhile, the retrograde tide has all but taken over the outer planets, so this move forward into the next phase of the world story of which our personal lives are embedded is loosening its advance and looking for a more successful entry. The major factor is that space needs to be made for the new to arrive. We need to disconnect from outdated concepts. This calls for a wide variety of clearing out previous engineerings of our ways of life on the personal scale, and where that interacts with the macrocosm is disengaging from completely useless egregores from a before-time that really is not that ancient, but might in fact feel a lot like yesterday or startlingly seem still like now. This runs the gamut of every social, political, environmental, and economic pet ideology of the social media virtue signaling era. It is cumbersome to take into the next 15-20 years the many ideas, opinions, and concepts you may have pinned upon your lapels since 2018. It might serve you to, in an act of martial zen, clear your mental hard drive and cease to be as programmable as that moving forward. Luckily, we may be beyond the era of virality (save for whatever immersive sedation awaits us in Neptune in Pisces final dip this upcoming fall and winter), so rid your system of saturations you’ve become laced with and no longer identify the intoxication you’re subject to or realize you cohabit your cognition with.

The talisman in the Picatrix is for curing infirmities and easing childbirth, utilizing gold washing water for purification and the head of a lion inscribed in this most precious metal as well as warm amber. Clearly we can see the yang dispelling excess yin, the light of day disintegrating the nightmare, the maladies banished by purity and dark immobility broken up by activity. Remember though, this is a New Moon, the lunar dark phase. So this doesn’t happen in boldness but in a potentiation of such unfolding. The mansion is called the brow and the image a lion’s head, which is appropriate for the trine to early Aries and the theme of getting your thinking together on your own and not assisted by whatever outsourcing cognitive suite, if you are so inclined. I don’t mean this to be flatly anti-AI, but as a moment of listening to your spirits’ energetic cues which may require turning down that which impinges on your finer cognitive functionings.

The PGM refers to this shape as Horse, to which connections to the cult of the Dionysian/Zeus-like Sabazios can be drawn. Horses were not native to the Mediterranean, and their arrival into these regions by PGM textual times would have included the aroma of peoples, cultures, creatures and influences influxing from foreign lands. Sabazios’ cult was such an entity; Indo-European themes of horse back mounted sky-father’s abound in a lineage that unwinds all the way to St. George slaying dragons, and it may be that this Asia Minor originating entity clashed with indigenous goddess cults in Anatolia before arriving into the Greek and Roman worlds. The sweep of Indo-European culture from the Eurasian Steppes on horse back wielding weapons and carrying with them the tripart society structure of priest, merchant and warrior classes familiar from the Indian Ocean to the Norwegian Sea and from Atlantic to the Baltic passed over the European continent relentlessly pollinating its influence, and smothering the peoples and practices which existed long before this mass movement.

The Nakshatra is Maghā, "the bountiful”, otherwise translated as “powerful” or “great” (Proto-Indo-European root *magh- "to be able” or “have power”) and is often displays as an armed warrior upon a horse sword drawn and paralleling the cult image of Sabazios. As Sabazios is considered the sky-father, the Rigvedic deities here are the Pitris, meaning ancestor spirits or fore-fathers. These could be family ancestors or the ancestors of the gods themselves, of which there are 7 classes, in heaven and in netherworlds, and come around at the end of the maha-yuga and re-establish the cycle. As lineage fathers, they can represent natives in governing positions or the role of a father in general.

Being entities beyond the gods who rule within classes of deities is interesting, as this would fall upon Scirlin (or Duke Syrach) in the Grimorium Verum (as laid out by Jake Stratton Kent), the intermediary spirit who is responsible for bringing in all the other spirits, particularly the subordinate 18. The syncritized Exu in Quimbanda is Exu Calunga, meaning both ‘cemetery’ and ‘ocean’, who himself rules over 15 subordinates. HORSE Shape in this variety of ways seems to be about animate organizing principles surrounding the influx of other entities, influences, intelligences and spiritual-energetic forces or functions. We might think of the Shen in Chinese Medicine’s attribution of spirits to the five major organ systems. The Shen resides in the heart and is responsible for organizing and making coherent the orther organs and their residing respective spirits. As previously mentioned, the Shen is the consciously aware spirit-mind, referred to as the Emperor within the body, and as the brightness of the eyes converts inspiration at existing as a being into creative expression and contact with others and the external world beyond the organism. This connecting with others as being mediated by the spirit energy which inhabits our body seems similar to the Verum organization of intermediary Scirlin bringing in the others, or the Pitris forefarethers begetting the gods and resetting the cycle of existence, or even the horse itself historically which altered all of human history by carrying peoples, ideas and cultures across territory where they connected, commingled and modulated with other populations. Obviously the famed Trojan horse within which are hidden many warriors at ready to spring out and overwhelm is worth mentioning.

Also worth mentioning is Sanskrit derived Maghā (bountiful, great, powerful, able) from which we also come to the words magic as well as machine, in Proto-Celtic shows up as machair, derived from makajā, meaning fertile flat field, as Magha and machair both derive from Indo European méǵh, which meant big or great but also soil, plain or earth. The Celtic goddess Macha, who’s name refers to a region of Irealand as well as a type of habitat, a grassy plain. Macha is a sovereignty goddess and associated with fertility, horses, war and kingship, just like Sabazios; essentially core Indo European archetypes, as the Proto Indo Europeans themselves emerged from the expansive grassy plains of the Eurasian Steppes. Macha was famously forced to race against the king of Ulster’s horses despite her being in late term pregnancy. She wins the race but dies at the finish line upon it’s completion, only after giving birth to her twins and cursing all Ulster-men to have birth pangs for five days during their hour of need for nine generations forth. This becomes a critical device within the Táin Bó Cuailnge, who’s hero, Cúchulainn, assists defend in the invasion of Ulster, being himself born simultaneously with twin colts, and having one of his own chariot’s horses named after Macha. Multiple passages of the Táin read as if they are grimoire role calls, and the multiplicitousness of Macha’s child-bearing as well as Cúchulainn’s birth circumstances further’s the themes of bringing of the others and influx of foreign influences, especially those out of mysterious circumstances which spring forth from the fertile land and modulate or reorganize sovereignty.

In JSK’s analysis of Scirlin and Horse, he discusses the dynamics of spirit possession and “being ridden”. It might be noted here that in traditional cults which work with spirits this being ridden is often (but not always) consensual. In our contemporary world we might pause to assess what we are being ridden by, and if we would give consent to what possesses us if we could? Certainly, our own Daimon is the primary spirit which harnesses the physicality of our anatomy, and that might simply be enough to develop a sound relationship with that harnessing of spirit and flesh, at least as a primary living operation. The Indians have Ketu, or the South Node as the ruler of the 10th Nakshatra; we might take a cue from this refining and spiritualizing celestial force to pair back, shed dead layers, clear away possessing riff-raff and allow redundant, and fricative concepts to dissolve and pass away as waste, regenerating the ideosphere, and giving our Daimon’s a clear voice, through which we can collect directives as well as reconnect the heart-to-heart world.
